    How to Apply

    To apply to work at Ted Baker, it’s all mainly done online these days, where you can search for their current open vacancies and apply for them at your leisure. Ted Baker do not usually accept agencies though, unless they need a little extra help; usually to cover the Christmas period.

    Interview

    The interview process at Ted Baker is usually a 1:1 interview with the store manager. They will ask a number of questions regarding your previous experience and ask for any examples within your roles elsewhere could you bring the experience to Ted Baker. They will also do a hands on task with you, for example, they may give you a situation about someone who is looking for an outfit for a birthday party but they also want something they can wear again, not just the one off. So you will have to take the store manager around the store, picking out something suitable for that situation.

    Once you become a Ted Baker employee, you are offered a store discount, which is usually 10% but in some stores you may be offered more. You also have 25 days worse of holiday entitlement and a competitive salary.

    The salary at Ted Baker all depends on the role you play and the area of your store. On average, a sales assistant is usually on national minimum wage which is currently £6.08ph, for an assistant manager, your looking at a salary between £20,000 and £23,000.
