Tesco, the retail giant, created 400 jobs which are all taken now and 50 temporary jobs to cover the busy Christmas period.
The company says that they don’t accept any more applications since most of the vacancies has been filled already. Rest of the positions will be taken from the thousands of applicants that are already submitted to the system.
Tesco’s new employees taken from their job site online, a job fair organised by Halesowen MP James Morris and Job Centre Plus.
The company also employed people who were unemployed for long time.
Tesco said they are no longer inviting jobseekers to apply for jobs however you can still try your chance by dropping a CV to the store or asking for an application form.
