It is very important to wear right dress and have a proper outlook at the time of job interview, because first impression is the last impression. We do not get second chance to present ourselves. The interviewer makes first judgment on the basis of a person’s physical appearance only. Interview room is the place where you sell yourself. If you succeed, company will buy you, otherwise not.

There are some tips to improve on both the points:

    •    The outlook should be neat &tidy. Your physical appearance should replicate the amount of sincerity required for the particular job. Trouser below the hip line will not look professional at all.
    •    The attire should be formal & complete.
    •    Please avoid wearing very tight fitting & transparent clothes as it will create a bad impression on the interviewer
    •    All the interview clothes should be neat, tidy & properly ironed.
    •    Always use a portfolio instead of big bags. Do not use canvas or big jute bags, instead use a small briefcase.
    •    Do not use sunglasses as it looks messy at the time of interview. Just imagine yourself with sunglasses on your head while giving your interview
    •    Outlooks include not only dress as well as attitude, public speaking & overall personality of an individual. If a person is properly dressed, but if he speaks foolish things, it will hamper the entire scenario.
    •    Keep yourself fully charged at the time of interview. Feeling sleepy & yawning will be harmful.
    •    Always wear a smart & professional watch. Bejeweled or stylish watch will not create a good impression.
    •    Please say no to big and heavy jewelry. Avoid wearing heavy earing, use a small top.
    •    Look at your hands & legs before going for an interview. It should be properly trimmed. Do not use dark & loud colors.

    Tips for Men’s:

A proper formal suit (Preferably of solid colors)
Long sleeves shirt (coordinated with suit)
    Tie
    Conservative formal shoes (well-polished)
    Belt according to the shoes
    Professional hair style
    Trimmed nails
A complete portfolio (It includes resume & other documents).
    Fully Shaved face
    No Jewelry

    Tips for Women’s:

Proper business suit (The skirt line should be enough long to sit properly)
Coordinated shirt or blouse (Do not wear loud colors)
    Moderate proper formal shoes
Limited jewelry (Say no big earing’s &bracelets)
    Neat hairstyle
Light makeup & perfume (No strong fragrances)
    Manicured nails
    Complete portfolio.
Always use a mouth freshener or mint before entering interview room
Do not use chewing gum, cold drinks or candy at the time of interview.
Whenever someone thinks of going for an interview, make sure you have right kind of attire & everything is in its proper fitting.
The outlook should be very approaching during the time of interview. Your outlook should reflect your positive attitude.
Facial expression is a part of outlook. Do not make funny or dirty faces during interview. Even if you are disagreeing with the interviewer, contradict their opinions gracefully.
If you need to travel to long distance places for interview, always make sure to use those clothes that do not ceases easily
