Vodafone are pleased to announce that they will be creating five new jobs in Dunstable when they open a new phone shop. The new store will be opened in the Quadrant Centre on Friday 30th May which is at No 4 Nicholas Way and it is said that the new store will put it back on the high street in town.

Vodafone are currently on a £100 million nationwide expansion and this store is part of this expansion. They are looking to open 150 new stores which will create approximately 1,400 new jobs over the next year.

The new store is going to be displaying the top ten best selling devices so that customers are able to try before they buy and the in store team will also be able to help customers to set up their phones or tablets as well as helping customers to transfer their contracts and photos with the Vodafone Red Box so that you can buy a new phone or tablet and leave the store with it fully functioning.  There are also plans to include click and collect using the store pick up on online purchases.

The new store Manager, Claire Hetherington is delighted that they are opening in Dunstable and feels that they have some exciting new offers for their customers. Prime Minister, David Cameron said that he thought it was a fantastic vote of confidence for the UK workforce for a company to be investing in the next generation of digital services and it is a sign that the long term economic plan to create jobs and stability is stronger than ever making the digital industry more competitive. This long term will help to ensure a better and financially stable future for Britain and for the hardworking people in the UK and their families.
