Waitrose are to employ sixty new staff at their two stores in Guernsey bringing the total number of people employed by the supermarket up to 160 on the island.
A spokesperson at Waitrose said they were pleased there they had noticed a higher than expected customer demand at their new Rohais store in St Peters Port which has lead to the additional job vacancies.
