Waitrose Jobs – 600 Job Vacancies To Be Created In North West

600 Waitrose job vacancies are expected to be created when the supermarket chain introduces a new £35m Regional Distribution Centre at the 12 hectare site at Chorley in Lancashire which was formerly BAE Defence Systems.

British Airways continue to own the Chorley site, but Waitrose will be leasing the space, where a spokesperson has said that the chain plans to construct 33,000 square metres of warehousing, with a further 4,600 square metres of offices, and an additional vehicle maintenance unit.
