Waitrose are due to open a new supermarket on Osborne Road, Jesmond, Newcastle on Wednesday 2nd November 2011 on the site of the former Osborne Road Garage.
The construction works have progressed throughout the summer to create the 800 square meter store. 70 new job vacancies have been created with the new store, most of which have already been filled following receipt of over 1,000 applications.
Those candidates that have been successful will be introduced to the John Lewis Partnership induction scheme which includes training courses, employee discounts, profit share and bonuses.
