The new Waitrose store is going to have over 2,300 square metres of trading space selling all of Waitrose range and branded products. In the new store, the ground floor will be retail including wine, a bakery and service counters selling meat, fish and a deli making this store a nice size for local customers and residents.

As well as the traditional buying from a Waitrose store, the new store will also provide online shopping deliveries through its doors at Waitrose.com and they will also offer a Waitrose Delivery service where customers can even shop in the store but have their groceries delivered to their homes by the Waitrose van.

Waitrose is part of the John Lewis Partnership and they feel that this is an exciting opportunity to give the people of High Wycombe the full opportunity of the John Lewis Partnership. These new job opportunities is excellent for the local people and Waitrose have said that they are looking forward to being able to service the local community for many years to come.

The new opportunities gives High Wycombe a real boost and by opening a Waitrose there gives the customers more choice  which is healthy competition for the other retailers.  Through the John Lewis Partnership, Waitrose operates as both sustainable and profitable and is nationally recognised for this.  It shows a very positive future for High Wycombe and for employment levels across the area.
