What words to use in your CV? This is very important for you to express yourself and give a good impact on the employer or interviewer.

Accelerated, achieved, advised, approved, assisted, built, calculated, completed, conceived, controlled, coordinated, created, decreased, defined, designed, developed, directed, earned, edited, engineered, evaluated, found, generated, implemented, improved, invented, managed, operated, organized, planned, proved, revised, scheduled, tested, trained, verified, wrote. These words give the correct impression that you have been responsible for do different kinds of jobs tasks. In other words, you weren’t just a follower.

My advice is to follow wording they have used on the job advertisement. For example, if they want someone “reliable” make sure you add that in where ever you can within your CV. They want someone who meets all the criteria they are asking for, and this is a good way of doing that 😉

The choice of words will depend on the job you are applying for too. For example, if you are going for an upper level management job, you will be expected to have a higher level of education and be able to use more complex phrasing. For example…
    “I have extensive experience in…”
“My primary field of expertise is…”
In all CV’s, the words ‘initiative’, ‘responsible’, ‘teamwork’, and ‘punctual’ are words that a prospective employer will love. You need to communicate to them that you are the best employee ever.
