Dear Sirs
I should like to apply for the position of Network Analyst, as advertised recently. I have currently being working for a large IT outsourcer as a project manager responsible for the running and maintenance of a large network of IT systems across a number of remote locations. This role has included the recent transition of some aspects of our computing functions to a hybrid version of cloud computing where we now use a mixture of Internet based (SaaS) services and our own data centre storage and management, based on my recommendations. We have also introduced Wi-Fi connectivity, specifically for our residential training and conference facilities; I appointed the supplier and oversaw the smooth installation and running of this new application. We have most recently installed a brand new training room fully kitted out with Audio Visual facilities to enable us to host virtual conferences with our remote locations to save time and money and so that we have a facility which can be hired out to third parties, thus generating an extra income stream. This, too, was implemented as a result of the IT network review I conducted.
As part of my role I am expected to keep up to date with the latest developments in technology and, as you will see on my CV, I have a number of certifications which you will find relevant.
