In the role of Sales Ledger Executive, this person oversees the process of any invoice being paid to another company for works done, products etc. You will need to ensure that you have good processes in place to ensure that no invoice is missed or not followed up and that all invoices are paid on time and filed accordingly.

You will need excellent organisational skills, a good accounts background and be able to contact clients on a regular basis and feel comfortable in talking to them and ensuring that the invoicing process is easy an effective.

PERSONAL PROFILE

I am an organized individual with a solid administration background who has worked in a couple of roles within the accounts division. I am numbers orientated and like to create new systems to ensure that invoices are sent out at the right time and they are paid at the right time.

I have a logical mind and am eager to learn. I would like to pursue some accounts qualifications over the next few years to improve for myself and the company I work for.

I have good communication skills, am motivated and driven and like to ensure that my work is done accurately and on time. I am able to multi task and can work on several new projects at once.  I also stand in for my colleagues in their roles when they are on holiday.

In my role as Sales Ledger I work in a very busy accounts department ensuring that invoices are paid to companies on time and accounted for accordingly. 

My responsibilities include:

Checking the banking daily
Ensuring that invoices are paid on time and remittance advices are sent out
Dealing with queries from clients and resolving issues
Making sure that invoices are issued correctly and re issued where necessary
Credit notes as required
Helping with monthly reporting procedures
General accounts queries and issues plus holiday cover for colleagues role.QUALIFICATIONS

Computer skills – MS Office, Excel, any specific Accounts packages such as SAGE?
