Sky currently provides services to over 10 million customers across the UK and Ireland, offering a big range of high quality television. In order to deal with the requirements of these services, Sky have 16,500 employees and are always looking for ways to improve their services.

Working for SKY

To find the employees which can provide the excellent customer service which Sky strives to offer, and most importantly retain their existing customers and provide services to new customers, Sky have an excellent careers where you can search and apply for jobs or their Graduate Scheme. Jobs are available within the following sectors:

Sky prefer to receive their job applications online via their careers website. Once you have found a suitable vacancy, you must create a registered account to submit your application. This registration process usually takes just 10 minutes, and once registered you can use the registration to apply for a number of vacancies, or set up a profile to receive emails if appropriate vacancies are listed in the future.

It is wise to have your current CV available whilst you are filling in the online forms, and make sure that you highlight how you are better suited to the position than other candidates.

Once your application has been submitted, depending on the job you have applied for, you may be asked to undertake some online assessments. If you have successfully completed the application process, and you are selected for an interview you will be contacted to arrange a convenient date and time for an interview.

Sky offer graduate schemes to suitable candidates in Head Office and Engineering roles, and work experience positions, generally within the Media or Content and Production side of their business.

Graduate courses tend to run throughout the year and the usual set up is for the graduate to shadow an existing manager or team, sometimes with a day-release to achieve further qualifications.
