Social Work Personal Statement Example

I am a fully qualified Social Worker with experience in working with young children at risk and their families. I have been working as a Social Worker for (how many years) and I qualified from (what university and when).

I enjoy working with children and their families, even in exceptionally difficult circumstances. I have learnt to have a great deal of patience but to know when to react quickly in particularly difficult situations.

I am an excellent communicator and exceptionally hard working. I never leave a job undone and often work long and hard hours to ensure that as a social worker I make a difference to these people’s lives. I am keen to find a new role due to relocation and feel that I have a lot of transferable skills within social work.
