Architecture Personal Statement Example

So you are looking to apply for role as an Architect then you will have studied at University on a five year course to be an architect followed by 2 years in a professional role putting the learning into practice and have a passion about buildings and the structures and how things are built and what they look like.  Working among architecture is a very specialised role and you will get to work amongst new developments and had an also be part of restoration programmes for older properties and conserve protected or listed buildings helping to restore them to their former glory.

Once you have successfully done your training and work experience, an employer will be looking to see your skills and also what you have done during your work experience and what types of buildings and what period of architecture you enjoy working with. Any employer will also be looking to see what other qualities you have such as being organised and creative and have a real interest in buildings and construction.

I am organised and thorough and have excellent computer skills especially using CAD which I use for my drawings. I am very enthusiastic and keen to begin my career fully and I am looking forward to the challenges that arises along the way.

Art Personal Statement Example

If you are looking for a career in Art then you will more than likely have studied art at university and be very passionate about Art. What type of career you go into from Art is up to your individual person but you could be an Artist, you could lecture students about Art, you could provide Art classes, be an Art editor etc, there are numerous roles in which you can undertake but the main thing that an employer will look at it how creative you are, what type of Art you do, understand and know about and where your passion lies.

Employers will be looking at what lies beneath the Artist. What type of Art are you passionate about, where do you see your career taking you. Why did you study art at University? What have you learnt? These are all questions about Art as a subject but don’t forget to think about other qualities you have such as how you work, are you organised, methodical etc.

Biomedical Science Personal Statement Example

If you are heading for a career as a Biomedical Scientist then you will have studied for a degree in biomedical science and have some work experience upon graduating. In this role you will usually work in a Laboratory environment testing samples for diseases and diagnosis to prevent diseases.

An employer will be not only looking at your education experience but they will also be looking to see how you work and if you can concentrate for long periods of time trying to figure something out and testing and researching information. Biology Personal Statement Example

If you are looking for a career in Biology then you will have studied Biology at University and have a keen interest in the Sciences.  You could be seeking a career working in a Laboratory, a hospital, teaching people about Biology, a research role at a university. There are many roles that you could do being a Biology Graduate, it will be down to what you have learnt and what area of specialism you feel your skills could take you.

An employer will be looking for you to have a keen interest in Science and as well as having the correct qualifications, ideally some practical experience unless it is a graduate role that you are going for will be needed. It may be a case of doing some practical work experience before applying for jobs to use the skills that you have learnt from your degree.

Your employer will also need to know that you can think in a logical fashion and, concentrate for long periods of time and can work very accurately keeping detailed logs or notes and ensuring that you follow tests and research carefully.
