By Guest Author

Writing a CV can be very difficult sometimes. You can’t always get everything right. CV’s consist of many details and they all require a high level of attention. You may also be in two minds as to whether you should include certain items on your CV or not.

Summary from the infographic:

Padding – never lie on your resume!
Zero Keywords – always look for the right keywords to include.
Cliches – over-used buzzwords may hurt your CV so better to avoid these so you stand out.
Pore Grammar – you can’t always see grammatical and spelling errors yourself so ask for proof-reading help from friends.
Lack of Customisation – be creative and update the format of your CV from time to time!
