I have a particular interest in women’s experience of religion and religious traditions and have a postgraduate qualification in that area, which is why I feel sure that I meet your requirements. I know your establishment quite well as I have attended conferences in the past.

In addition to the above I have taught about spirituality and religion from a sociological perspective at my own and another university. I work well, both alone and as a member of a teaching team and have been involved in module and course development during my academic career.   1. Just a tip for those writing cover letters – make sure you proofread it, as there are lots of employers who won’t tolerate bad spellings and grammar!

  2. If you want someone else to look over your cover letter as a second pair of eyes, then there is no problem in doing that
