Application for the post of Customer Services Assistant

I was very interested to read about the vacancy within your company’s customer services team and I enclose my CV for you to consider.

I have a good range of office experience, including secretarial work, word processing and data entry. More importantly, I have a lot of general reception experience and have found that I really enjoy talking to and helping customers. I have good problem solving abilities and find it easy to empathise with customers and focus on solving any problems they may have.

As a result of my experience, I have an excellent and confident telephone manner and can work efficiently with the Microsoft Office software suite, e-mail and intranet systems. I have good team working skills and enjoy being part of a team environment.

I understand the importance of established customer service procedures and feel sure that I can provide you with a reliable and accurate service. I am an effective worker who can develop good working relationships with colleagues and supervisors. I really feel that I can meet the requirements of the post and am keen to join such as reputable organisation as ABC Company.

    What an excellent example! – I would be wary of including the last bit about being pleased to attend an interview, that to me is a bit too forward, but then that may be the strategy these days
