I should like to apply for the IT Sales position, as advertised recently.
I am currently working in a large consulting company where my role is predominantly that of technical support. I have a BTEC in Computer Studies and am a member of the British Computer Society (BCS).
I have excellent technical knowledge and take a keen interest in IT issues. I am able to interpret technical data in a meaningful way for non-technical people and can write reports and proposals in a clear and concise manner. I am able to work either in a team or on my own, depending on the task and can manage my own time and plan my day effectively. I enjoy presenting and meeting people.
I would like to move to a smaller organisation where I can combine technical advice with an all round sales role and manage the implementation, training and after sales support, as I really enjoy this aspect of IT.
