Facebook say that their employees come from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds and they aim to discover top talent and take their employees very seriously. They are firm believers in keeping their employees happy and fulfilled in turn getting the very best from them.

At Facebook they like to concentrate on â€œImpactâ€ focusing on solving the problems rather than spending hours on them and moving fast â€“ they have a motto â€œmove fast and break thingsâ€ the idea behind this is that they are less afraid of making mistakes than losing opportunities.
They value diversity on an individual level allowing you to create the environment in which you work best in.
As you would expect you apply for Facebook roles on line on their website. They have an excellent benefits package for their employees and value diversity high on their list of requirements whatever the role may be.
Initially they conduct a 45 minute telephone interview for any role. The idea behind this is to talk through your experiences and see where you will best fit. If it is a technical role you may be asked to do some coding for example but it all depends on the role.

Facebook like two things: enthusiasm and innovation. Working for this type of company often demands a certain element of risk at interview, so that you don’t come across as one dimensional or boring. Working for Facebook is a dream for a lot of people, and for this reason you really do need to put yourself out there and try your best whilst you’re having your interview. I didnt even realise the Facebook recruited within the UK? Where is their head office here?
You will need to stand out but not oversell yourself. Remember that whatever you say on your CV you need to be able to back up, there is no point making up information to sound impressive – it WILL come back to bite you.
