What supermarket is the best to work for? I live near a Waitrose but am not sure whether they are the right company for me to work for. What do you think?

Supermarkets do vary in the types of people that they employ and the types of customer that they have. Waitrose and M & S tend to have more middle class customers and also more middle class staff. You will need to decide which you think that you may fit in better with. Imagine whether you would be happy talking to the types of people that shop in the different supermarkets and that may give you a better idea as to which would suit you better with regards to employment.

The best thing that you could do would be to have a look at their websites and read about the company and their history. Sometimes, you will get a feel about whether you would enjoy working for them or not. However, if you apply to them all, it gives you a better chance of getting into one to build up your retail experience, which can only be a good thing.
