Tesco’s in Northamptonshire Village to be Approved
A plan to open a new Tesco’s on the site of the Globe Hotel has been recommended for approval this week on the 25th April. The motion, which had previously been denied, has now been looked at again for approval, and with a positive recommendation from the highways department, it looks as though this store will not have an issue passing.
The store has come under scrutiny already with Chairman of Weedon Bec Parish Council; Stuart Jacks saying that he felt even though the store may create jobs initially many local companies could potentially be damaged by the opening of the superstore.
