It is also my duty to supervise the older children during lunchtimes whilst the staff are getting their lunches.

As a Nursery Assistant in this large nursery it was my main duty to ensure that all the deliveries are put away in the right places, that all toys and equipment are clean, tidy and in good working order and also to ensure that the building is kept clean. I was also responsible for maintaining the garden in this nursery as they didn’t employ a gardener.

January 2007 – January 2008

Working for this busy small nursery as an assistant saw me carrying out many varied tasks on a daily basis. I would have to generally do anything asked of me by the other staff.
