Tesco’s could create 120 jobs in Bowdens Park on Draycott Road
Even though it is in the early stages a new Tesco’s could create up to 120 full and part time roles if it is approved. The store, which would be 20,000 square foot if approved, would have a 200 space car park with a petrol station and recycling area as well.
Tesco’s says they are ideal for the area because they stock more south-west products than any other supermarket. The supermarket also says that they will only provide a place to do a weekly shop, which means there will be no in-store chemist, cafe or any other interior development.
