How to Apply

To apply to work at The Body Shop, you can download their application form from their website; take that back into the store you wish to work at, along with an updated version of your CV and a covering letter if you wish. A covering letter is a better way to get across your personality and gives you a chance to explain why you would like to work at The Body Shop.

Interview

The interview process is usually a 1:1 face interview, where you will be asked about your previous experience, they may ask a few questions regarding your application form or CV, so make sure you know exactly what you have written on both of these. The interviewer will most probably talk a little about the company itself, so having a little bit of background information about the company will help you understand what they are talking about, and will also enable you to ask an questions.

Graduates

The Body Shop also offers a graduate scheme. To apply you need to go to the L’Oreal website for an application form. You need to be passionate about beauty, retail and management. Have a grade C or above in both English and Maths, and a minimum of 2:1 degree in any degree to be considered.

Salary

For a store manager, you’re looking at £13,909 – £31,477pa, an assistant store managers salary is between £11,779 – £23,951, for a general sales assistant your looking at NMW per hour, currently £6.08.
