I would like to apply for the Volunteer’s position, as advertised recently. I work for a number of different charities, raising money for surgeons building hospitals for the poor of Western Ghana, raising money for various Armed Forces charities, most recently, helping to organise a fund-raising dinner where we raised £7,500 on the night with a full sit down dinner, sponsored entertainment and a silent auction. I enjoy talking to people while respecting their views if they make it clear they are not interested in pursuing the conversation. I am also involved in the Women’s Institute and help with our Village fete and church activities.

I am a strong believer in supporting the community and I would really love to get more involved to help you deliver your services and carry on the good work!
