Cover letter for a Waitress.

I should like to apply for the waitress position, as advertised recently. I am currently working part-time as a waitress, however, I am seeking a full-time position and there are no openings in my current place of work to extend my hours.
You will see from my CV that I currently work for a well-known establishment. I have enjoyed my time here, it’s always very busy, the team is great and the standards of service and customer care are very high.
I was attracted to your advertisement because of your reputation and I enjoy working in a modern environment serving contemporary cuisine.
I am very happy to work changeable shifts and am used to using a variety of point of sale technology from taking the order at the table to the kitchen and reconciling the bill at the end so, I believe, I would be able to ‘hit the ground running’.
