Dear Sirs
Further to your advertisement in the Liverpool Echo for a warehouse assistant I would be grateful if you would consider my application. I have completed the application form, as requested and enclose it with this letter.
I have some experience of the work and know that it involves helping to unload the vehicles, checking that there are sufficient items on the shelves, and refilling them when necessary. I understand that there is the opportunity to learn stock control and other duties in the warehouse.
I have also enclosed a copy of my GCSE results, and a reference from a supermarket in Liverpool where I worked part-time in the school holidays. I enjoyed the work and hoped that I may have been able to work there after leaving school, but they are only able to offer me a few hours each week. I really want to work full-time, and I am happy to work shifts.
