Dear Sirs
I should like to apply for the role of Automation Engineer as advertised recently.
I am a creative thinker who designs automated systems, currently working in the food processing business.
I have a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and have learnt a great deal about automotive engineering specifically while working for a large food processing manufacturer where I am responsible for the design specifications, programming, simulation and testing, and producing of detailed documentation for the automation of the machinery and processes.
I have a solid understanding of computer programming and software development, working daily with computers to program processes. I am capable of troubleshooting equipment problems and performing complex system tests which I do on a daily basis.
I am seeking a new position because I believe that manufacturing is increasingly moving toward automated processes to reduce the amount of labour needed and I want to work in an organisation where I can apply these skills to help automate to reduce costs and speed up efficiency of time to market for products.
