Working in this large national pharmacy it was my duty to ensure that the pharmacy was stocked correctly, that all orders were filled properly and checked to ensure that they were correct. I would also have to give advice on various medications and products. I also ran my own blood and cholesterol checking service in which I would offer to check that these were ok and if they weren’t would offer advice to assist in getting the client checked by a doctor.
January 2008- January 2010 Pharmacy, Kevin’s Chemist, London In this small family run pharmacy I was mainly responsible for dispensing of prescriptions to customers, and giving advice on over the counter medications or products. I was also responsible for running a smoking cessation clinic and weight loss advisory service.
January 2007 – January 2008 Pharmacy, Shoes, London Working in this large and busy high street chemist I was mainly responsible for ensuring that the regular orders were processed, filled and delivered or left ready for collection, I would also have to ensure that the chemist stores were restocked where required. I was responsible for the checking of all the orders to ensure that the correct items had been dispensed and in the correct amounts. I would also run diabetes and cancer advice session twice a week to educate the public better on these conditions. |
