Dear Sirs

I should like to apply for the position as a Plumber, as advertised recently. I am a registered Corgi registered plumber and gas installer, able to install full central heating systems. I currently work on contract to the Council, however, this role is coming to an end as the departmental contract is being moved to another supplier. I have my own van and equipment and am able to cover a wide geographic area, depending on the jobs that come in to the company. I have worked in this field for over 20 years’ and am used to working with a couple of apprentices and over-seeing several jobs at once. I have a portfolio of work I can show you, including a number of projects where I worked on bespoke kitchen and bathroom installations. I can also conduct servicing contracts and am authorised to provide the authenticated certificates to the customer.
