Tesco to create 400 new stores in New Supermarket At Peterlee College Site. The company has already started building the new store in Burnhope Way, Peterlee, County Durham which will create 400 new Tesco job vacancies.
The retail giant is now waiting for the final approval decision from the local council which expected to come tomorrow.
The store will be built on an old colege which will be demolished. Construction will create as supermarket as well as a modern library.
Tesco will be in contact to Jobcentre Plus to fill the 400 job vacancies.
